Ketorub Pain Gel
Ketoprofen 10%, 20% Cream or Gel
Ketoprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by reducing substances in the body that cause pain and inflammation. When applied topically it reduces pain receptor sensitivity. Our compounded gels and creams are used to help with mild to moderate pain, or signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis.
This medication is a convenient and effective solution for a variety of pain-related conditions. Formulations with ketoprofen often include the local anesthetic lidocaine, which works by stopping nerves from transmitting painful impulses to the brain
Fewer Risks and Side Effects with Ketoprofen Topical
Ketoprofen gel or cream is specifically designed to target the site of pain. Because these medications are applied topically, they do not circulate through the entire body. This means you have a powerful pain medication where you need it the most while avoiding many of the complications common to oral medications. When using this medication you should massage it gently into the affected area and avoid washing or showering for about an hour after application.
