Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)

HSAs and FSAs can be used for a variety of prescription medications. Both are ways for patients to pay for medical expenses from a tax-free savings account. An HSA can be opened at a bank or other financial institution. An FSA is obtainable through an employer. If a compounded medication is not covered by insurance it will be covered with an HSA or FSA.
